← Yorkshire Marathon
I enjoyed this race ... yes there is are some rural areas that are quiet ,yes there are some inclines and yes there are a couple of out and backs .. but all in all this is a quick course with some very good support from the locals .
the marshalls were excellent at shouting encouragement in the areas where there was little support and they all did a great job
the finish is downhill , however to get to top there's a bugger of a hill to get up !! However it's worth it for the 400 metre down hill to the finish where the MC does a good job getting crowd in to a frenzy !
one downside would be the feed stations water in bottles ,great . Asda energy drink not so ! Sweet?? a mouthful nearly made me throw up!
