Extremely well-organised considering the number the participants. The back two waves sort of merged together before we got to the start but it was so crowded it wouldn't have mattered.
Highlights of the course were the seaside, running past the Welsh National Assembly, and round the lake at the end. The rest of it was neighbourhoods and city buildings, but the local support made it interesting. I wouldn't run it for the course.
Lost a mark for safety mostly due to the irony of the only safety issue being the safety motorbikes roaring past. They were well-prepared with emergency first aid though, people were dropping like flies in the last few miles - mostly, I assume, because this race attracts a lot of first time racers.
