Let's keep this simple.
This is my first solo swim, and it's not really for me, especially in the serpentine that tastes of duck poo.
i only did this event for the London classics medal.
Organisation was great, and the course was simple. lots of marshals on the water and I felt safe. The organisers can't account for idiots in the water and there were a few.
Only negative was that there were lots of waves, because I did two laps a wave started after me and when the fast ones came past it got messy.
medal was great and well worth it. Will I go back, meh maybe one day but not bothered either way to be honest.
