I did this swim as I wanted to earn My London Classics medal. It was superb. Well organised and such a great event. The only thing I’d suggest is they have a ‘souvenir’ tent selling t shirts etc. I for one would have bought one!

Superb event . Great to be in central London and pre-race very straightforward. Real big event feel to the start and swim was good - easy to navigate and nice finish. Hot tubs and finish area great with lots of bargains at the Huub stall.

One of those unmissable events in London if you like sports, particularly if you love open water swimming. As usual, great location, excellent organisation, good environment and this year an amazing weather. What else?.

This was my first open water swim. From arrival to the end I cannot fault the staff and Marshall’s changing areas were clean and tidy. Good check in processes when you start. Lots of supervision out on the water and lots of support from them as well. When finished it was really nice to have a hot tub to warm up in. The only down side was you are then out in the open in your cossie getting cold whilst they take your photos with your medal. The changing areas were lovely warm which also helped. It would have been nice to maybe have some merchandise you could buy of the vent. But overall I’d highly recommend this event.

First time and great swim.  Well organised. My only negative bit would be that baggage bags are too small for the clothes / swim stuff you need to being with you. It just abouts fit a wetsuit.  Still wouldn't stop me from doing it again though. Great event

Great little set up.

Really enjoyed my swim today especially as everyone was so nice. Volunteers and other swims apart from the one that tried to dronw me near the finish #wallophegot.

Bag drop was very easy and fluid.

Plenty of fueling stations for before and after.

The swim started bang on time.

Loads of help if required during the swim, words cant describe how good this event was!

Loved the medal!

nice goody selection after the swim

the actual bags provided are rubbish and split. My only issue.

Medal was pretty quirky

I did this event as part of the London Classics series. I’m really glad I did. It was well organised from the point of registration up to when you left at the end of the event. The safety kayakers were amazing and always on hand to help if you stopped. Loved the event

I wouldn't normally do just a swim event, however this was 'part 3' of earning the London Classics Medal and that is a great medal, well worth earning. The process for collecting the Classics medal was smooth as well and deserves a mention. A well organised swim with your info pack, timing chip and swim cap sent 'old school' through the post - that was quite nice. Everything on the day was smooth; free, supervised bike parking was a bonus. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great, raining hard, so not really a day for mooching around the expo! the swim was wet anyway! well marshalled, plenty of safety canoes, easy to navigate. the Serpentine isn't the prettiest place i have swum, but for the centre of London, its ok. all in all a well managed event that is a challenge in its own right but well worth it to complete the London Classics (London Marathon, Ride London 100, and Swim Serpentine 3K+
