Stunning location amd very well organised. Shame it rained non-stop on the bike but can't blame the organisers for weather! Thought the lake was a bit shallow as my hands kept grabbing weeds and I left the lake looking like a swamp monster! Bike course was great and flat. Because of the rain the run course was very muddy and like a bog in places, defo wear trail shoes for the run. (I wore nike ultrafly trail shoes but probably should have worn something like a speedgoat or salomon speedcross to cope with the lack of traction). Great event just not one for chasing PBs in my opinion.
