← Robin Hood Half Marathon
I'm done. Not being a fan of checking up on the route, this time it didn't work in my favour. Wasn't expecting the hills for the 1st half. Pretty much took it out of me.
A 'big' event feel and a lot of runners all different shapes and sizes.
Route was easy to follow, some parts a little boring round estates and along roads. Some nice parts through the parks and a great finishing line set up.
Well supported throughout, loads of cheering.
Water stations were good, lucozade on offer too. Only thing I found was the waster was in little plastic bags, similar to calypso drinks. Two blew up in my face and the third went down the wrong way.
Great medal, tshirt and goody bag.
