I forgot to pick up mine at the finish line - my first half, so you can imagine that your mind can be a bit fuzzy. After the race, noone at goldline events seems to care about issues like this anymore.

This was my second half marathon and my first time doing the Robin Hood half. I have ran for many years but never enjoyed running and always struggled with long distances. I didn't enjoy doing my first half marathon back in 2017 so was quite sceptical about doing this one. But I really enjoyed the Robin Hood half. The atmosphere in the race village, before it started, was amazing and definitely helped to ease the nerves. It was so wonderful and encouraging seeing people lining the streets cheering everyone on and certainly helped to keep me going. The whole event was organised so well, especially the different coloured bibs and start times, that was really helpful. I enjoyed the day that much that it has made me want to keep running and take part in more races and come back next year. So thank you for converting someone who didn't like running to someone who now wants to keep going. Also, I love my medal :-)

First time doing the Robin Hood. Loved it. The course was fab. Yes, there are a couple of hills, but but you can train for them. Some really nice scenery, including around the roads. Marshalls were fabulous, as were St John's Ambulance, who came to support a couple of injured. Good feed stations. Great atmosphere. My main feedback to the race organisers is the overly complicated process of deferrals. The signage to the car park was shocking. It was not organised very well either, when you finally found the entrance. Definitely in need of some attention for next year. One of the best medals I own, and I did appreciate the emails to help us countdown. Thank you!

A well organised event . Interesting course around the sites of Nottingham including Nottingham Castle , the Park and Wollaton Park. Thankfully the main hill is near the beginning. Excellent crowd support. Early start advised as the traffic into Nottingham can get quite heavy and early exit from the event due to heavy traffic is also worthwhile. Nice finish on the embankment. As it has been going for many years it is a big event with many runners and supporters.

This is such a super race. I have done it twice and will happily return. The course is interestingly varied, with the challenge of climbs in the first half, through the middle of the city, through the university, out to the suburbs, through Wollaton Park, back through the university, and a memorable final km along the river. There are lots of marshals, and there was clearly effective emergency support as I noticed a number of runners down being carefully attended to. The race uses a lot of pacers, so you can be fairly precise in what you want to achieve with the help of pacers. The medal is excellent, and there is a big event village, so the atmosphere is super.

I couldn’t use the bath salts and hate peanut butter things so the protein bar was no good to me. For the money I paid, would have expected more of a range of items in the goodie bags.

What can I say. I’ve run this race 6 times and looking forward to the 7th. The support is brilliant for the whole course and the medal is fab.
