← Leicester 10K

We arrived two hours before the start time and found lots of parking areas that were free.

This was the inaugural Run For All 10k in Leicester, starting and finishing in Abbey Park.

The event village was small with a few food stalls, Up & Running stall selling sportswear, a massage tent and engraving tent (fee of charge)

The baggage was on a lorry and well organised

They had pacers for every 5 mins from 40 to 75

My partner Garry was the 55min pacer

There was a 10 minute delay to the start of the race and the PA kept us well informed of what was happening. We set off on the 10k course around the park and through parts of Leicester City Centre. The mix of park and road running made for a more interesting route. The course was more or less flat, suitable for a PB.

The finish line was easy to get through to pick up your fabulous medal, good quality t-shirt and goody bag.

The marshals and organisers were very helpful and friendly.

This is the third Run For All race I have entered (the first in Lincoln 2015 & Sheffield in 2016), and would not hesitate in entering any of there scheduled races as they are very well run and good value for money.

This is part of a series of 7 10K events run in the North/Midlands areas and I fully intend to run the rest
