My third time doing the Run Reigate half marathon and the event just keeps getting better! Now an award winning race, Reigate is growing a bit of a reputation as a fixture in many runners' calendars. If it isn't in yours yet, get it in!

Finishers receive a great t-shirt, high quality medal and, this year, a buff too. The race is brilliantly organised and marshalled and has retained its friendly atmosphere despite the growth in size. This years event village was bigger and better than ever with plenty for supporters to occupy themselves with. That plus the half marathon, 10k and kids race options make this a family affair. 

A word on the course: there are two major hills at each end of the course with the rest undulating. It's testing but beautiful and even though there was less local support this year (murky, cold weather doesn't help) what there was was loud and cheerful.

Overall, a great race - get it booked in!
