I'm very glad I chose this as my first 10K because the logistics were made very easy. Parking and plenty of toilets were near the start and the route was well-marked. The run is all coastal and it was great to run by the sea and the Mersey estuary the whole time. I particularly liked the way the course looped back on itself at 5K so you could spot faster people you knew going the back other way. There was a very positive and friendly wave of applause in the group still running outward for the fastest runner who had already looped back. I'd really like to do this again.
