I only have good things to say about this race. The swim course was great, the bike course was great (and mostly closed roads - something unimaginable in the UK!), the run course was great.
The only negative I can think of was the venue for the race brief. They chose to do it outside which in theory would have been great but the rain made it miserable! I'm sure somewhere can be found for next year.
key for me was how easy it was to get there. I flew in early afternoon on Friday. My hotel was close enough that I could then wander over to register and attend the aforementioned brief. Getting to the start was easy and the post-event stuff was also easy. I flew home afternoon on the Monday. I don't think I'd want to stay longer so this was perfect.
