← Immortal Half - Stourhead

My 3rd time doing this race in the stunning grounds of Stourhead national trust. By no means does this race get easier.

Again the race was fantastic and the team from Immortal sport had done a wonderful job just wish they could sort the weather.

The night before the race it had rain alot so this had cooled the lake but nothing major.

The only grumble I heared was it was a little tight on the racking but most of the athletes had done big name races so were used to this. More space would be better for next year.

The bike route is rolling with 3900 feet of climbing but maintaining speed isnt that easy but again isnt tough to keep a good speed.

The run is great but it just zaps teh energy from you so I will do hill bricks next year. And be prepared to use trail shoes if it rains lots in the days before the tracks can get muddy in the forest.

All in all a great event and a must do next year..no Ironman have left wimbleball after june
