The Milton Keynes Half marathon was the 1st organised half marathon I have run and the furest i have every run.

I decided after my training runs that i wanted to complete this race in under 2hours, so at the start i found the 2hr Pacer, a real nice lady who was really helpful (i believe she was from Luton, so not local) she explained how the pacer worked and filled me with confidence while waiting for the 10am start.

The race started on time and by 10.10 we was running!, I live in Milton Keynes so i knew what the views would be like, but what i did not expect was the amount of people/crowds that would be cheering me on, everyone was really helpful, the route and signage i found to be perfectly fine.

I continued to monitor my pace / time and was happy to say i finished in 1hr 59 & 13seconds.

The whole event was really good and my 6yr old enjoyed the fun fair rides while waiting for me.

I would defiantly do this event again.
