Our multi-award winning marathon event is consistently ranked in the top 10 UK marathons, an AIMS/IAAF Grade A certified race, with BARR Gold accreditation for outstanding race management and with a stadium finish. A London and Boston marathon qualifying event as well as an England Masters and Abbott World Marathon Majors Wanda Age Group World Championships qualifier.
We’re blessed with a tremendous amount of natural beauty in Milton Keynes. We’re also lucky to have a world-class system of cycle paths. We do our best to take advantage of those factors to give our runners a course that’s interesting, inspiring, fun to run, fast, and different from other marathons.
The Marathon Relay runs alongside the Milton Keynes Marathon event, pitting teams of four runners (adults only 17+) against each other, each competitor running a leg of approximately 10k.
The relay event is open to businesses, charities, clubs, or even groups of friends and is characterised by a strong element of friendly competition as teams compete to be seen as the fittest or the fastest. These titles represent not only an enviable PR title but also bragging rights that last for a full year.
This opportunity does not come around every day and is something not to be missed. Teams either take it in turns to drive or nominate a team driver. Full instructions and maps will be sent to each team before race day. Each team is expected to move around the course in one vehicle either with a dedicated team driver or by sharing the driving.
The Superhero Fun Run is a fantastic event for runners (or walkers!) of all ages and abilities. Experience what being a superhero is all about as you cross the stadium finish line cheered by thousands of admiring spectators. This is a very colourful and fun addition to the MK Marathon event for the whole family and sells out every year, so don’t leave it too late to enter! Who’s joining us?
Our new 10K event is named in honour of Alan Turing, the English mathematician, and pioneer of theoretical computer science. Turing was based at Bletchley Park near Milton Keynes during WWII and was instrumental in breaking the German Enigma code.
The multi-award-winning Rightmove MK Half Marathon is a very popular and scenic half marathon event and is an AIMS/IAAF Grade A certified race, with BARR Gold accreditation for outstanding race management and a stadium finish.

Enjoyable event, very well managed during Covid times. Marshalls were all excellent and really nice to finish in a stadium. Flat course, good PB potential. The lack of toilet facilities at the start caused many runners to start later than their wave time; the fi...Read full review
