You know when London Marathon is approaching. As it's all everyone talks about. And a commons cry is "it's not the only Marathon " or "there are plenty of other marathons out there"...

yes this is true. There are plenty of fantastic marathons out there and I want to do them all. And many marathons rival or better London in different ways. But as a package, IMO, London is the best in the world (obviously I've not done them all so far).

everything about London is fantastic. It's a huge event. So big it has three starts. The crowd support is unrivalled, there are supporters everywhere. Ok at times it's a little too much, like when they are encroaching on the course, or when you just want to get to the pub afterwards. But the crowds are fantastic.

all the marshalls and volunteers do such a fantastic job as well. Every part of the race is fantastic. More water than you need, and lucazade at frequent occurrences.

The negatives of this course are just negatives of mass running. Hazzarss with so many water bottles on the floor, or it's crowded in places, some find it overwhelming, but what can we expect really. 

The expo beforehand is amazing and frankly I would go even if I wasn't running. The medal and shirt are of great quality (the design if the tshirt is questionable and not really to my taste but hey).

I want to run all over the world and I have done 6 London now, but I will run every year I get the opportunity because I absolutely love London.
