I got a pb so am probably biased but I loved this race! Have done it once before in 2013 and almost everything was better this time but my one gripe would be the business of the course - I don't expect to still be weaving round people at 20 miles. I got to the blue start about 1:15 hr before the race which was plenty of time to drop off my bag and make several trips to the portaloos as although the queues were long they were well marshalled. The free water, lucozade and coffee at the start zone was also a nice touch. I was in pen 5 and it took less than 6 mins to get across the start line which surprised me but given how busy the course was maybe being more spread out at the start would have been better. There was plenty of water every mile and a  number of showers en route which was great as it was much hotter and sunnier than expected. There were also plenty of toilets every couple of miles though even the one I used at mile 17 had a  queue, but again marshal supervision meant it moved quickly and it even still had toilet roll! The support at this race, as you'd expect, is amazing and I really can't remember a section where there weren't crowds  cheering, my only issue was a narrow section in the latter part where supporters seemed to be on the course making it even more difficult to get through. The finish line organisation was excellent and it took me less than 15 minutes to get my medal, goody bag and pick up my bag. Really pleased to see they had technical t-shirts this year (unlike 2013) and that they had x small so it fits, the medal is also big and chunky and the goody bag packed. Will definitely be back to do it again if I ever manage to get another balllot place.....
