← Surrey Half Marathon
I ran my 2nd Surrey Half yesterday, & once again thoroughly enjoyed it. It wasn't my fastest half - that honour belongs to my 1st Surrey in 2015 - but I did prove to myself that I can still give it a decent go. This is a fast course - a few small gradients, but otherwise flat. The start, at Woking Leisure Centre, is well organized, & the course pretty scenic. I am slightly biased as I used to live in Old Woking & we twice run past the top of my old road! There are quiet areas without much support, but you'd expect that anywhere other than a town centre race. Along with Brighton, this is my favourite half, & all the while I can, I'll continue to do both.
