First Surrey half and second RunThrough half. Brilliant, flat route with only 4 or 5 gentle inclines followed by longer descends helping you get back into rhythm. Flawlessly organized, plenty of toilets, good event village, well organized bag drop. Amazing and very helpful staff and volunteers. Would definitely recommend and definitely consider coming back in future.

A Fantastic, Well-Organized Half Marathon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently took part in Surrey Half Marathon and was thoroughly impressed by how well-organised the race was from start to finish. Pre-Race Experience: The registration process was easy, with clear communication leading up to race day. The race organisers provided all the necessary details well in advance, ensuring a stress-free experience. Race Day Organisation: Everything ran smoothly on the day. The start area was well-managed, great atmosphere and plenty of toilets available. There were plenty of marshals and aid stations along the route, fully stocked with water, electrolytes, and enthusiastic volunteers offering support. Course & Atmosphere: The course was well-marked, with a great mix of scenery and a few manageable inclines to keep things interesting. Post-Race Experience: Crossing the finish line was met with efficient medal distribution & refreshments. The event village had a great atmosphere with a number of pop up food stalls. Overall: This was a great half marathon with excellent organisation, friendly volunteers, and a great course. Whether you're a first-timer or an experienced runner, I highly recommend this event and will definitely be back next year! The use of plastic bottles was the only disappointment for me - but something to consider for following years.

First time running this event. I really enjoyed it and thought it was very well organised, nice route, excellent volunteers. It is a mid sized event and i felt it had all the atmosphere of the larger events without any of the downsides (short wait for toilets, no long waits to stay in holding pens etc). The only thing to be aware of is there is no parking for the event. Getting to the event and then getting home again afterwards wasn’t as easy as most other events I’ve been to

3rd time doing this event, first time since it has been taken over by Run Through. The race village, personally not to my taste, thought it was quite poor and the organisation in terms of warm up/opening the pens was horrendous. Not sure why people weren't allowed into the starting pens until 5 minutes before the scheduled start led to just a huddle of hundreds of runners around the start area as they tried to walk the pacers in which was poor. Mile markers weren't the most accurate out on the course either, I think mile 4 was missing all together, so in terms of pacing, it isn't ideal. Other than those points, the goodies at the end were very good, the marshals out on the course were fantastic, bit lacking in the support but that isn't something an event can control. Medal was also well designed.

Sadly found the course really bland with little support. Everything was in the first 3k then completely dried up after that. The distance markers also seemed to be a bit sporadic. The Marshalls were good though and made a great effort. Lack of parking for the event also made it less accessible (for both runners amd spectators).

This was my first RunThrough event and it was hard to find fault with the organisation, slightly confusing race village maybe, but otherwise lots of marshalls, plenty of portaloos and everything you needed at the start. However I did feel rather like a customer at a large branded event. Personally I prefer the lower key, lower cost events organised by running clubs where the passion is obvious and genuine. Couldn’t afford to do these regularly but they serve a purpose!
