Brilliantly organised by Chester Tri - really good comprehensive race pack, efficient registration process and flawless organisation on the day. Interesting course, excellent marshalling and good support in the city centre. Really nice T-shirt as well (for a change).
The race is a river swim (850m upstream/650 down), flat bike ride (one small climb about half way through) and a flat run loop with 3 laps that takes you over two bridges and through a park. Transition is secure, well laid out and signposted with adequate portaloos. You can get a shower afterwards as well.
Be warned however as a national championship, euro and worlds qualifier the field is quite competitive!
Great race - bring your A game. I'll be back at this one again.
