Thank you Lee and the team at Fullsteam for putting on such a fantastic event. It had such a great atmosphere - none of the pushy, bling of IM races. The route is amazing - a wonderful swim in Dorney Lake, followed by a (rather lumpy!) cycle through the Surrey Hills and out to Sussex, and finishing with a breath-taking (and knackering) run up up and over the South Downs before dropping into Brighton for a seafront finish. Great technical finishers tee and medal. All the marshals were great and it's amazing how they manage all the logistics of a split transition but they do. I couldn't recommend this enough - it really is a brilliant tri and I'd even consider signing up for next year - or is that just the endorphins speaking??
