If Carlsberg did swims…. Probably the most picturesque swim there is, I had to stop looking around and remember I was racing, I wish the photographers were there it would make a spectacular photo. Not a fan of the individual starts as I love the madness of mass starts but it is understandable why. It was fun doing a running jump start though 😊.

The bike course… wow I love it around there stunning and very hilly, I am glad I did on my road bike and not the TT bike…. Hopefully, the road surface will improve sometime soon but you can say that about all of Sussex. Can you thank the guys on the bike aid station they handed up the bottles like pros didn’t need to slow down a bit.

Only thing I would say negatively was that I did the Standard Aquabike and wanted to run across the finish line for the all-important picture, unfortunately no one could point me to how to get into the run chute, maybe a small sign next year or some clear instruction as none of the Aquabikers I talked to found out how to either.
