This is not a course for the feint hearted, and certainly is not a PB course (although many with me did achieve a PB). This is a challenging, hilly course, but one that you will enjoy.
For an event in only its third year it is spectacularly organised, and well attended.
If you drive the parking is simple as they take over many local business parking spaces so there are plenty of spaces near the event village.
The race starts hard, as you go straight into a tough hill, and this continues throughout, but remember, what goes up also comes down, and there are plenty of easy sections. I was expecting a particularly difficult course, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. The final hill was tough, but much shorter than the previous course offered.
The racemakers and all the support from the locals was wonderful, and really adds to the event.
The medal is unique every year, wish is a nice little touch.
I plan to come time and time again, hope to see you all there.
