← Stafford Half Marathon
I was offered to pace at this event and it was my first time running here so was looking forward to it especially as lockdown was looming and who knew when we would be allowed out again!!
Met up nice and early to sort pacing duties out so plenty time to get ready for the run ahead. The start and finish in the town centre meant a great atmosphere to help you along.
Kept a nice group with me for most of the race and picked up a few more as we got closer to the finish line, I encouraged all the runners to run ahead of me as we hit the town centre to finish as I knew we were just under time. Fantastic finish line and great medal too
I would definitely be up for doing this event again one day
