What a great event by RunThrough!!!
All Covid guidelines were in place perfectly, race numbers posted out beforehand so no queues on the day, all runners called to the starting pen in estimated finish order and then given a cone to stand by keeping everyone at least 2m apart.
Parking on the racecourse itself or on nearby retail park so short walk to starting area, full warm up given by local gym then it was off to the start.
Course is laps but perfectly flat so great for a PB attempt, I did the HM so it was 4 laps for me plus a short out/back to start. Due to Covid there was only one small water station each lap (which is forgotten about) and they did ask you to bring your own if you needed more.
Once race was finished you got a brilliant medal along with flapjack, sweets and bottle of water before heading back to the car to get warm.
A race I would 100% recommend to anyone in the NW
