First of all, this year's event took place under Covid guidelines so isn't by any means what you would normally expect under 'normal' conditions.

This was my third Beachy Mara so i knew very well what i was getting myself into. Lots of hills, unforgiving terrain (the last 10k) and absolutely stunning views. 
 
Under the circumstances the organisers did an absolutely amazing job. The marshals extra enthusiasm made up for the usual mass of supporters along the route, and the aid stations still worked out really well, even with the enforced limited spread.

I have reviewed this race before, so please search if you want my more detailed review, but in short its an amazing marathon, which is a great one for a first timer, though it is a tough. You will definitely walk a great deal of it (unless you're hardcore) and you will definitely fall in love with it (maybe not your quads though).
