In the first post Covid lockdown pool-based triathlon DB Max did a great job of the rescheduled Westonbirt Triathlon.

The event was well run, and the social distance time trial style start helped the swim feel more relaxed. The pool swim involved moving lanes as you went which slows it down a bit yet a worthwhile setup for responsible social distancing.

The event was fair with naturalised transitions to put people at ease with any additional Covid cleaning and precautions that they wanted to take.

Event feel was impacted by the reduced number of alowed spectators which is an understandable and correct reduction yet the event itself was the usual Westonbirt wonder which comes highly recommended.

Overall very well done to DB Max for a superb post lockdown standard.
