← Cotswold Classic Middle Distance Triathlon
What a fantastically well run event the Cotswold Classic was. Graeme, the organiser, kept us so well informed with his lengthy emails in the run up on how the event was lively to change due to COVID-19 (no spectators on site, reduced aid stations on the bike, staggered rather than mass start) so there were no surprises on the day. Gorgeous lake swim, flat as a pancake bike route and flat 3-lap route for the run where there was plenty of support on the roads outside the event site and from the volunteers, the last group of three in the run up to the end of the lap who were the most manically enthusiastic supporters I've ever seen - superb! I can't imagine a better event for a first-time middle distance triathlon.
