← AJ Bell Great Manchester Run
I won a place for this race which was nice. The route is obviously through the city - not very scenic, but on the flip side, lots of support. I do feel it is a pricey race for what you get - quite a generic medal, a tshirt which was huge (sizing off), and nothing else. That said, it's a big city centre running event and is probably in line with others. I managed an unexpected sub 2 so can't complain too much! It's just a shame this falls most times on the same weekend as Liverpool RnR - two huge events in the NW running calendar!
