MK Marathon is a good event.  It might not sound like the best place for a marathon, but it is good, maybe not the best in terms of support but it it is a well run event that works well.

Parking in the morning was very busy and noticed a few people making a dash to the start line, my advice would be to give yourself plenty of time to get to the start as parking is limited near the ground.

The race itself was a mixture of half marthon runners and full marathon runners.  The start was a bit busy but alright after the first mile or so.

The views were not great, but it is Milton Keynes - what did you expect.  The crowds were good up to the half marathon point, then it took a real dip.  The marshalls were great and aid stations good enough.

The stadium finish is ok, there certainly wasn't the sreaming crowds to cheer you home, more a few hundered people waiting for family members to finsih.  It might have been different for the half marathon.

The medal is cool and the t-shirt is good as well.

Overall I was surprised at how good this event is.  I will be running again next year!
