← Cardiff Trail Half Marathon
Tough Runner? Understatement! That was a brutal run, but one of my favourite races I've done. The hills were hard and steep and didn't feel like they would at times, but the views from the top were worth it. The route was amazing and was off road on grass/fields and through woodland, stunning in places.
Marshal support and navigation was great with good support throughout and a great atmosphere at the Mountain Ranch for the start/finish.
My only negative would be around the aid stations where we were told there would be gels and bars available, however these were not made that obvious when coming up to the aid stations as it just seemed to be water that was being handed out.
Overall, a great race in a great location.
