Great run in the forest, plenty of parking parking onsite ,plenty of climbs to make it challenging but fun. Well organised, lovely medal.

The first running of this race was blessed with excellent weather, marshalling and organisation.

The course however was a mixed blessing, yes it was very tough but it was also convoluted and incredibly narrow so much so there was significant stints of walking, not because of gradient or terrain but because it was impossible to pass people.

Yes it was never going to be a pb course but it was frustrating to get so stuck for so long! For that reason I wouldn’t do the race again. Which is a shame as it had a lot going for it!

Tough Runner? Understatement! That was a brutal run, but one of my favourite races I've done. The hills were hard and steep and didn't feel like they would at times, but the views from the top were worth it. The route was amazing and was off road on grass/fields and throu...

Marshal support and navigation was great with good support throughout and a great atmosphere at the Mountain Ranch for the start/finish.

My only negative would be around the aid stations where we were told there would be gels and bars available, however these were not made that obvious when coming up to the aid stations as it just seemed to be water that was being handed out.

Overall, a great race in a great location.
