Stunning views, *very* steep uphills and you can run with your dog if you wish! What's not to like?

Beachy Head is quite a unique race, taking part in a stunning location, offering the best views across the unique white cliffs and over the English Channel. I did the 10k variant (most people opt for the Marathon) that took us up and incredibly steep hill right form the go, then down and back up, to finish with a mile of downhill back to start. The whole route is off road and offers amazing views (and cows - there are cows and their 'pats' everywhere - beware!). Trail shoes highly recommended.

This is a very friendly event, quite a few people run it with their dogs, and the HQ is in a local prep school offering proper loos, showers/changing rooms and a pool to relax afterwards!

I would wholeheartedly recommend Bechy Head - and plan to do it again next year with my dog :)
