Fantastic event. As a Cambridge resident i had never done this before as it clashes with the also excellent Thurlow 10miler from Haverhill Runners. However signed up this year and although a little pricy for a 10k, and with no t-shirt, it was still value for money as there are lots of road closures in the town centre and it takes in a lot of the Cambridge sight-seeing highlights.

Numbers are also spot on so the course doesn't feel crowded, aided by slightly staggered starts and it is very easy get in the pen at the appropriate time. 

Fast flat course, largely sheltered and with great PB potential - my time was a lot quicker than I had expected. Also well supported. The run into the finish is great and results texted almost immediately.

Minor grumble is that a few extra toilets would be useful - there were long queues and the urinals had a queue. close to the start. Volunteers, especially the bag drop people were brilliant. Will definitely look to do again.
