← Hever Castle Festival of Endurance - Triathlon Series
This was my first ever long distance triathlon, and what a beauty. The swim is a 2 lap swim down the lake and then down the River Eden, and it such a unique swim. The bike course must be one of the toughest long distance courses up and down the Ashdown Forest, though the scenery is great and the support is good. You pass through pleasent English villages throughout the course, you might even get to see Winnie the Pooh. The run is a mainly offroad run through the estates of Hever and Chiddingstone, lots of local support, and even great support from marshalls on the secluded sections. A great event and put on by a wonder Castle Triathlon crew, it really is a special event that is highly recommended.
