← Bowood House Triathlon
My first Triathlon. Bowood is a beautiful place, it was great to swim, cycle and run around.
It was a really hot day, I know this is out of control, but some water in transistion maybe so it was accessible as you setup? plenty of water as you finished to cool you down! and actually on the run, the one station was ok as it was 2 laps - but saying that, with the extent of the grounds at Bowood, it would have been nice for the run to be a single 5k rather than laps and get out to see a bit more of Bowood!
the support was pretty non existent, even family had to pay to get into the grounds, so I only had 1 person suporting whereas a lot more of my family would have liked to come. and there was a lot of visitors who had no interest in the race
