This was a great showing for an inaugural race. The team behind the race are very passionate and seem dedicated to making this a popular event in the Surrey area.
The course was enjoyable, not quite 'mostly flat' - probably more 'a bit hilly' - but the challenge made finishing the race all the more satisfying. Excellent pacing team out in force, well done to #visorclub! Good, supportive marshalls bar the slight worry over traffic being let through the course mid-race.
A very nice medal for the bling shelf with not many frills aside from this but as the event grows I'm sure this will sort itself out - hardly an issue though as the event itself was enjoyable. Certain to be back next year and recommend to others!
