One thing race organisers can’t do anything about is the weather- but they can have a back up plan (or two) and despite heavy rain during the week, the event team kept runners updated with tiny changes to the route based on flooding.
Sign up and communication was good. Mainly through email and social media. An early start due to road closures but well managed car parking and HQ meant everything was set to go.
Nice race village with few stalls and food outlet with free massage for runners was nice touch.
The race had free photos which are being sent to email addresses. Great service based on how expense race photos can be.
Lovely medal, tech T-shirt and a little goody bag with crisps, cereal bar and banana.
