This was a good event but the only problem was a lack of water stations.
I was doing the Starter-Tri but there was no water station until almost at the end of the run i.e over 1.5kms in. I had to flag down a member of the public out walking in the grounds and beg for some of theirs.
Shame as otherwise a good event. I was told by a marshall that they couldn't get enough volunteers to man the stations/they'd run out of water by the Starter-Tri.
Also the £10 entry for supporters was a bit steep considering there's not much to do other than food and drink stalls.
Lovely venue but perhaps not the best for begineers like me. Not sure I would go again.
