← Hever Castle - Triathlon Series
A big volume weekend event, with the level of organisation needed to handle the crowds of athletes. However this does lead to a feeling of being 'processed' on an event conveyor belt, albeit to a high standard of quality and professionalism. Specific points :- Bike out / bike in had poor surface - gravel and mud combined . Run out was cramped in width; run lap mixes with swimmers from lake at entry to transition - so a bit messy there. One marshal at a key left trun junction on the course was not 'active' - so easy to miss the signage there - as I did!
