The organisers must give better consideration to how the weather made this race a disaster, especially at this time of year. Bike course cut short, which i accept was for safety reasons (but surely choose a route where this won't be an issue?) The transition exit was so muddy I struggled to get my bike shoes into my cleats as they were so clogged up. The run route was farcical as the muddy sections were boderline dangerous with so many athletes slipping over and the potential to slip and pull a muscle was huge. It was closer to a tough mudder than a triathlon. Overall, not really impressed. Compared to Ironman this is like Sunday League football.
