← ATW Bedford Running Festival
A local HM with many of the qualities of a big half marathon (eg T-shirt’s, waterbottles, beer - even yoga, an outdoor cinema and a sizeable stage with live music).
Pre race logistics & parking was easy. Beautiful course running past the marina.
It was a hot day so I was pretty desperate for a drink each time and unIess you stop at waterstations it’s hard to drink from cups, so I’d always prefer a sports top bottle - but I’m not going to mark organisers down on trying to be more environmentally considerate. Having a pacing team to lead runners around the course would take this race to the next level
