← AJ Bell Great Manchester Run
First time I ran the 10K, I ran the half last year but wanted to experience the 10K atmosphere, first thing to mention is it appears to me that the 10K is the main attraction, really well supported around the whole course. The course heads out to Manchester United's ground and back, taking in various parts of Manchester, it is really well organised from registering to taking part. There was music around the course and a new part was the music and smoke machines at the Hacienda, really good idea and helps get over the finishing line.
Once finished, you get a t shirt, medal and various goodies, I will definitely be running this race again next year.
