Any excuse to run on a closed London road and I’m usually there! Nice easy bag drop off, gentle walk to the start and not too much hanging about before you get going. Really lovely variety of runners and good atmosphere for all on a sunny run. The downhill from the strand to embankment is a treat as you catch the breeze from the river! Finish was smooth but trekking back to Trafalgar Square to pick up your T-shirt and getting caught up in a massive queue was a bit painful when maybe it could all have been done near the finish. That said, I’m sure I’ll be back next year!!
