The goodies bag was good too, lots of treats and drinks to fuel me after the race. The course was busy and bendy but not too busy that I was slowing down to overtake people. Only negative was that there weren’t enough toilets, but otherwise I can’t wait to run it again in 2026

Third consecutive ASICS/Saucony London 10k. Running in wave C was able to complete the course before the full sun came out so managed to grab myself a PB in some perfect running conditions. Atmosphere on the day was fantastic. The best goody bag I’ve had from a race. As always the route is fantastic - yes there are a fair few about turns but being able to do a closed road run that takes in Regent Street, Trafalgar Square, Houses of Parliament etc is really hard to complain about. Only slight fault was that there were nowhere near enough toilets. I was in one of the first waves to set off and even then the queues were ridiculous.

Saucony have taken over the mantle of this event and did a great job. Everything felt slightly bigger and better than when Asics looked after it, including the medal being much better. The only criticism I can find it the hairpin turns, there were a few which leads to a bit of bottlenecking and people stopping suddenly, not ideal, but other than that, cracking event!

Well organised race. The route was nice, although there were a few hairpin bends and running back on yourself. People stepping out into the road or rushing across the road, wasn't too much of an issue.

The best London run I have done. Sunny day. Great route taking in all of the major sites. As flat as a road race can be. Brilliant atmosphere. Top notch medal.

Done this event a couple of times and really enjoy it. Great route around central london on closed roads. Always really good support, great race for everyone including first timers.

A fantastic event that I am really glad I entered. A few small things weren't ideal but didn't take the shine off the day and can't really be helped by organisers; a few sections where spectators try and cross the route in front of you and a very busy finish area and a bit of a hunt for the correct size finisher's tshirt... however, this didn't detract from a great route with plenty of landmarks to see. The DJs, bands and musical act at every KM marker were superb, the marshals were great and the whole event had a real fun vibe. Despite a few out-and-back sections to slow you down, it's a flat course and would be a great first event for newbies. I'll be doing this every year!

The race organisation was very good. I would have liked a warm up when I was in my pen but progress to the start line was good. Picking up the t-shirt was a bit tricky as there weren't many in my size (large) although the finish was generally well managed. My brother came to support me and we hooked up halfway but he missed me at the finish. Not sure if this was a race organisation thing. I love the ASICS 10K it's a great race and I'll be competing aginext year. I was pleased with my time. Another runner said to me post race it's a good event for setting a pb. Many thanks, I had a great day. FKi
