This is my fourth consecutive Bowoood House Triathlon and there is a reason for that - it's probably my favorite event! A combination of a spectacular course, full of unique features, the closed road racing and the fantastic organisation by the team.

This year, the course was slightly different, with the transition area being moved further away from the lake. Although this made the initial run longer (one of the hardest parts of the event anyway) it also made access from and too the bike course much better than before. The other big difference is the removal of the speed bumps on the bike course, which made for an even nicer ride. 

Bowood House Triathlon truly is a wonderful event and one I couldn't reccomend any higher, either to experienced triathletes looking for something new or to first-timers, hoping to try their hand at this awesome sport.
