← Vitality London 10,000

Really enjoyed the race. Toilets in the park were heavily in demand and that was a worry. Shame I didn't realise there were loos near the start pens but who normally leaves it that late?

Parts of the course were narrow and this wasn't helped by the numbers of runners with earphones in, not hearing calls from others behind. I saw at least two runners hit signs or bollards which was only because of their own stupidity and not paying attention. Didn't use the water stations as it was only a 10k but sad to hear they ran out of water for the later runners (as well as medals and goody bags).

Enjoyed the race itself as it has all of the fun of London Marathon whilst being 20 miles shorter! Volunteers were brilliant and cheery - especially in baggage reclaim, though special thanks to the lovely lady giving out the XL shirts who also gave out hugs!
