← Sunderland City Runs
The Sunderland 5k was my first ever race. The registration was straight forward enough and received number chip and information pack. The race was an evening run which was a bit different from the usual runs, It was all signposted fine and marshalled well. It had a friendly fun atmosphere as the race started by going over the new Northern Spire bridge, the course was ok marked out well and had a nice big incline half way round to work the legs.
The finish line was back over the bridge again which was good and the medal T-shirt and goody bag were all appreciated. So for my first race and run experience I would really recommend the Sunderland 5k
