I signed up for this on a whim, 2 days before the event. I bought a wetsuit and tri suit the day before.
I arrived on the day and everything was clearly laid out, marshalls were extremely helpful and reassuring. Directions were super clear both in the transition area and on the course. Briefing was also really clear.
I managed to win my distance too, so I'll definitely come back and have another go at the next one but a longer distance at Castle Howard!
