← Breakfast Run Loseley
This was the second year for the Breakfast Run. Using the famous Hogs Back Road Race course, it is always a nice event, and having it in the early summer means it wasn't freezing cold. I chose to run the first half of the race very conservatively (uphill), and the second half quite quickly (mostly downhill).
As it's only a shortish race, only having one water station is fine, and there seemed like there was plenty of water to go round. Plastic cups again though - not so good.
The finish area was very well spectated and there were enough people cheering and clapping to make you feel like you were finishing a much bigger race. The medals are superb and the added excitement of a treasure hunt around the event village made for a fun morning.
