← Wey Ahead

This was my first A2B event and I loved it! A great concept and a beautiful route! Things that let it down, it was meant to be15.5 miles it was in fact 16.4, the finishing process was not smooth - we stood around for a couple of minutes before the man scanning people out realised that we had finished despite us telling him.
It was my friends first event and it would have been nice for her to have been scanned at the time she finished and be presented with a medal, not have to ask! It might be an idea for the bibs to highlight distances so that the scanner knows.
The prerace briefing was non-existent, or if it happened we couldn’t hear it and we were only a few rows back. It would have been prudent for the email to tell you that you just followed the yellow signs, although it was obvious to me, it might not have been to other people. I would do it again, but it needs some smoothing out!
